Beware of cheap knockoffs sold elsewhere. We have found that many of the copycat versions of this filter have a weak steel inner screen that can begin to crank and fall apart due to engine vibration. Genuine Walker Airsep filters have a stainless steel perforated inner screen that is much thicker and stronger than the thin steel used elsewhere.
Genuine Walker filters also include acoustic sound absorbing material in the top to help reduce high frequency turbo noise by 5-8 dBa.
